This holiday farm, which conscientiously respects the principles of organic farming, is situated in the centre of an area that boasts a rich artistic and cultural heritage: the triangle Florence, Siena. The structural and environmental characteristics of this farm make it absolutely unique. It is, in fact, ideal for those seeking a holiday characterised by the utmost tranquillity, good wholesome cooking and many leisure opportunities, constituted by naturalistic, sporting and cultural activities, or simply for those who wish to relax beside the pool surrounded by marvellous scenery and perfumes. Indeed, its location is privileged, in terms of both climate, which is ideal for the whole family all year round, and relaxing tranquillity. The farm produces and sells delicious cold cuts coming from “Cinta Senese” a breed of small pig which is bred in the wild and exclusively by organic methods.

The farm is divided into two ancient farmhouses restored and transformed into seven nicely furnished apartments for 2 to 6 persons, in which the rural Tuscan style has been preserved. The houses are 700m away from each other. Near the main building, where you find the reception, the restaurant and six apartments, there is beautiful round shaped swimming pool with panoramic view, with sufficient sun beds and umbrellas. Behind the main building there is a spacious green lawn with a playing area for the children. Each apartment, outside in the garden, has a table with chairs and an umbrella. The big apartment for 6 persons is located in a building at 700m from the main building. In the restaurant you can savour the region's authentic flavours by sampling local specialties that are prepared with great care and attention to every detail.

The weekly market in Castelfranco di Sopra is held on Fridays.

Some of the activities that you can enjoy in the 100 ha estate including chestnut woods, meadows and pasture lands are bird-watching, wildlife photography, sport fishing, guided trekking, mountain biking, paragliding, hot air balloon tours, hunting, mushroom picking expeditions for guests. Besides that you can make trips to the cities of Art of Arezzo, Siena and Florence, or to interesting towns nearby as Castelfranco di Sopra, Loro Ciuffenna or Greve in Chianti. For those who love shopping there is Fashion Groove in Incisa in Val d’Arno at only 30 minutes drive.

A curiosity in this area is the presence of particular landscape type: the “Balze” of Valdarno, rocky outcrops in the landscape, formed by the sediments deposited by a lake ages ago. The colour of these Balze can be anything from blue-grey to amber, which contrasts beautifully with the surrounding landscape of oak woods and farmland. An interesting itinerary is the Strada Setteponti, a journey back in time through the traces of a past and present which persist in the art, culture and traditions of the villages which grew up along the ancient road that linked Arezzo to Fiesole: the Cassia Vetus. Along this road you can admire some of the most impressive churches of Valdarno, which arose along this road to serve the villages distributed in the countryside. The itinerary offers stunning views on the Arno valley below, on the Chianti hills, and on characteristic landscape of the Balze, which so fascinated Leonardo da Vinci that he painted the Balze in the background of the famous Mona Lisa.
